On Sunday 8th June, Lavanda Films had the pleasure of capturing the Wolves Lane Centre Community Open Day in North London (Haringey) — a vibrant celebration of local culture, community, and creativity.
Working closely with The Ubele Initiative in the weeks leading up to the event, we developed a visual approach that reflected the community’s vision — authentic, inclusive, and full of energy. Our goal was to document the spirit of the day while showcasing the incredible work being done at the Wolves Lane Centre, a beloved food-growing and environmental hub in the heart of Wood Green.
The Open Day featured a fantastic lineup of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, local food vendors, market stalls, and a plant sale. One of the highlights was an energetic drumming and music workshop led by Moussa Dembele, which brought people of all ages together through rhythm and movement — an unforgettable experience to film and share.
To ensure the footage was versatile and accessible across platforms, Lavanda Films produced both horizontal and vertical video formats, optimised for websites, social media, and digital marketing. The final video captures the colour, sound, and community connection that define the Wolves Lane Centre’s mission.
